Take the scenic road the loop trip to Chiang Rai on this 2 day package tour to Chiang Rai and the upper most north of Thailand. We will start the first day by taking the northern route towards Chiang Dao where we will stop to see the Chiang Dao cave . then visit the multi tired Thaton temple which will afford views over the Burma jungle as well as down the Mae Kok river valley towards Chiang Rai. A sumptuous buffet lunch will be taken on the banks of the Mae Kok river before boarding the bus to drive towards the Karen Long Neck village and Akha tribes at Yapah village. And then on up to the Chinese community on Doi Mae Salong where the air is cool and you will see the cultivation of tea. We will arrive at your hotel in Chiang rai in the evening and you will have a chance to freshen up before a visit to Chiang Rai Night bazaar, this is an excellent spot for some craft shopping as well as a good place to try some local Thai food while enjoying the entertainments. Day 2 will begin with a visit to the historic Chiang Sean City on the banks of the Mekong river. A short drive further up the river will bring you to the famed Golden Triangle area meeting points on Burma, Laos and Thailand. Here we manage a boat on the Mekong River to one of the river Islands belonging to Laos. Next is the Thai border town of Mae Sai and its border market. On our way back to Chiang Mai we will stop by the White Temple. (Wat Rong Khun) and Mae Khajan hot springs.
